I first entered the world of photography for the riches and fortune.

I’d like to say that my work is the result of deeply-inspired events or ideas. But in truth, I just enjoy interesting-looking things, and love capturing them even more. I try to highlight the overlooked aspects of everyday life: peeling paint on a worn sea-ship, or the warm color of rust on an old barn door. So in the end, my goal becomes turning degradation into beauty.
While I love the art of photography, my true pleasure comes from the moment a customer wraps their hands around one of my pieces. I also enjoy the subtle perks of photography, like naming the photos:

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I currently reside in Vancouver, WA along with my wife and three cats. Anyone who has met me knows a camera-bag is constantly at my side. I hope to one day participate in a medical study which would allow permanent attachment of my gear. But for now, I dream…
